Are you looking to add a beach touch to your home? From La Pajarita, we guide you step by step so that you can create a spectacular beach effect table using our new range of epoxy resins. With this project, you can enjoy a piece of the coast in your own space. Also, if you are especially fond of a particular beach area, you can recreate it.

To create this beach effect epoxy resin table, you will need the following materials:

  1. A round mold of the size you want to make your table or a wooden table.
  2. Epoxy Resin High Transparency de La Pajarita
  3. Pigments Kit for Epoxy Resin
  4. Beach sand
  5. Objects to decorate your beach, such as shells or stones.
  6. Mixing containers.
  7. wood depressor
  8. Anti-Bubble Spray
  9. Protection gloves

Step 1: Table Preparation for Epoxy Resin Table

Before starting, you have to make sure that you have all the materials prepared and the mold you are going to use free of dust and dirt. If you are going to use a wooden table, you can place adhesive tape on the sides to avoid wasting product.

A very important fact that you should know is that the surface where you are going to make the epoxy resin beach effect table must be completely balanced and flat.

Step 2: Resin Preparation

For the beach effect table to come out perfect, mixing the epoxy resin is very important, since it is made up of two parts, A and B. On the product label, you will find everything you need to know about how to mix both components and the necessary quantities, just as you will also find the pot-life. To do this, we recommend that you use a measure or a kitchen weight.

Step 3: Creating the beach effect

Once you have the components mixed, add the pigments to create the colors you want to make your table with. Remember that they are miscible, so you can make different shades of blues and greens to create different effects.

When you have your colors ready, you just have to pour them onto the mold in the order you want to put them. We recommend applying the darkest one first and gradually adding lighter ones to give an impression of a horizon. On the other hand, if you want to give the sensation of a deep beach, you can pour a dark green tone in the middle of the lighter areas. Don't forget to leave room for sand.

Step 4: Customize the epoxy resin table

Once you have the water created, place the beach sand and all the decorations you want to add such as shells and stones in the remaining space. Then, pour a layer of transparent resin over them so that it remains fixed to the table. This step is optional, but this will create more realism and texture.

Step 5: Create the sea waves

Once you have the beach created, the most important thing is missing, the waves. To create them, it is very simple, you simply have to mix the epoxy resin with white pigment and pour thin lines over where you want to make the waves.

Then, with a heat gun we expand the white and you will see how a spectacular wave effect is created. There are no limits, you can make the wave the size you like best.

Step 6: Final Finish: Importance of Drying Time for Your Resin Table

Add our Anti-Bubble Spray to create a smooth, flat surface, free of imperfections. It is very important that you let the resin harden and dry for the recommended time that you will find on the label of our high thickness epoxy resin.
