According to Celia, «two fundamental axes define my work: portraits and looks. Knowing the anatomy of a body, what lines make up a breast? How many curves do I need to give to make a female nude?
Studies of naked bodies, understanding how the skin works, expressions and, above all, what these portraits have inside. A face can seem impassive to us until one focuses the eye on the gaze.
Here the second axis is born, the looks show the inner world of a person. I usually resort to clear, transparent, blue eyes, eyes that show the inner world of each character that is born on my canvases.»
