Do I have to take any precautions before painting?

First of all, you should know that the paints of La Pajarita They follow a strict safety control before being launched on the market. In addition, we constantly work to reduce any risks that may arise from its use.

To know the safety measures that you should use, you must first know if the product you are going to use is “water-based” or “solvent-based”.

“Water-based” products, as they do not meet the classification criteria for dangerous products, do not require special protection measures.

Whereas for ‘solvent-based’ products we need to take into account certain specifications before, during and after use:
Keep out of the reach of children
Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and any other ignition sources. It is also not advisable to smoke near these types of products.
It is advisable to use gloves, covering clothing, glasses or protective masks to increase the safety of the person applying the product.
In case of eye contact, rinse the affected eye(s) with water carefully for several minutes.
Eliminate the content/container that you wish to discard using the selective collection system enabled in your municipality.

Finally, La Pajarita has managed to obtain EN71-3 certification for several of its products, which makes them especially recommended for use in children's toys and furniture.
