How long should I let the paint dry?

The drying time is separated into three types: Drying to the touch, drying for repainting and total drying.

Dry to the touch is when the appearance of the painted surface is dry and leaves no traces on the hand when touched.
Despite this, the paint is still wet inside and has not fully adhered to the surface, so we should not make any use of this surface or paint / varnish that has been painted.

Drying for repainting indicates that the paint has largely dried, has adhered to the painted surface and we can apply a second coat of paint without worrying about ruining the first coat.
It is important to respect this time frame when applying more than one coat of paint or varnish in order to achieve the desired result.

Finally, the complete drying of the paint indicates that it is fully adhered to the surface and can be used as desired.

So it is very important to know the drying times, which are indicated on the product bottles and in the technical data sheets of our products.
