THIS IS WHAT MARTA GÓMEZ-LECHÓN IS LIKE:
- What artistic movement do you best identify with?
I identify with painters like Egon Schiele, with avant-garde artists like Amadeo Modigliani, Derain, Matisse, Dufy... And also with the abstract art of the first decade of the XNUMXth century: Paul Klee, Malevich, etc. I like painting with warm, blurred colors and a personal touch.
- How do you start your creative process?
My artistic inspiration comes from a very young age, I have always liked the plastic arts, my mother also painted and without being aware I was very clear that I wanted to dedicate myself to this and pursue a career in Fine Arts. That's where my dedication began and continues until now.
- What materials do you usually use to make your works?
In my paintings I usually start with a linseed oil base where I layer pigments with White from Spain. Once it dries I paint with matte vinyl paint, fluorescent colors, metallic paint… ending with water varnish.
- why have you chosen La Pajarita?
After 20 years of painting, I have never found a better paint than la Pajarita. Its texture is uniform, covers perfectly and has a very wide range of colors; I also get the textures I'm looking for since they have many other products.
