Atoms/Play Copy
Description Medium fluid to easily achieve marbled effects and smooth finish color combinations. It allows us to create paintings with the Pouring technique with acrylic paints with great ease. When mixed with paint, it does not modify the colors and makes it flow easily over surfaces. The mixtures are simply poured, creating surprising effects. Once the colors dry, a spectacular shine is achieved by applying the color itself. Pouring Medium as a final finish. Uses 1. Technique Pouring Medium 2. Marble effect in creations 3. Psychedelic applications. Application tips Mix, individually, each selected color with Pouring Medium in an individual container. Begin by following these mixing instructions (the proportions can be varied, until the mixture is docile enough to flow easily over the surface): Very fluid acrylic paints - 2 parts paint to 1 part Pouring Medium Acrylic Craft Paints- 1 part paint to 1 part Pouring Medium Medium consistency acrylic paints - 1 part paint to 2-3 parts Pouring Medium High consistency acrylic paints - 1 part paint to 5-6 parts Pouring Medium Once each color has been mixed with the Medium, shake each mixture slowly so as not to generate too many bubbles. After having all the colors prepared individually, we will proceed to the application. An infinite number of application techniques can be used, which will result in various effects, depending on the creativity of the artist: POURING TECHNIQUE Place each of the mixtures in a single container, without shaking, letting one fall on top of the other. Normally, the first color left in the container will be the last to appear on the surface and probably the most outstanding. Place the support that we are going to decorate over the mouth of the container and turn both at the same time, so that the container is upside down. If this is not possible due to the size of the support, quickly turn the container upside down onto the support. Immediately lift the container, releasing all the contents. Once emptied, begin to tilt the surface, in order to create the waters or veins, until the surface is completely covered. DIRECT POUR TECHNIQUE Keeping the color mixtures separate in each of their containers, alternately pour each one directly onto the surface. You can tilt the surface to create a marble pattern. CONCENTRIC POURING Pour the individual color mixtures directly onto the surface, placing them one on top of the other like a puddle. You can tilt the surface to move the paint and create the effects. MULTIPLE POURING It can be used when the surface to be decorated is very large, such as a large canvas, so that, if we only drop the product in the center, it would be difficult for us to get it to reach the ends of the piece. Therefore, we can prepare several mixtures to pour into various containers and place them over the entire surface, for example, at the four ends. Lift the containers to drop the mixtures and tilt the surface to move the paint and create the effects.
